Dominique Hargis
Dominique known for her outgoing personality and knowledge beyond her years, is a very hard working and successful entertainer. Having grown up as a studio kid she has a very strong background of technique and training in all styles of dance that range from Ballet and Lyrical to Jazz, Hip-Hop, and even Gymnastics. Dominique is also trained through the Cecchetti Council of America and was part of the UDA dance association throughout High School. Born and raised in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, Dominique not only met the high demands of the competitive dance world but also majored in Dance at Western Michigan University for two years and graduated with a BS in Family Studies.
1999-2003 she made her first appearance on stage doing Broadway musicals at the University Detroit Jesuit High School. From 2004-2009, Dominique became the assistant director and choreographer of the U of D Musical Theater Department. She has also taught at numerous studios as a teacher throughout the State of Michigan, whether it be for a whole season or guest classes. Dominique has also worked with such artists as Bon Jovi and Vanessa Carleton. Her strengths as a performer have helped develop her passion for teaching and working with younger dancers all over the country. Dominique is charging head on in this industry and her talent and determination will take her and her career very far!
